About

Thomas van Otterloo

Thomas photographing with a telephoto lens in a field at the edge of a forest

I'm Thomas, a software engineer from the Netherlands with a love for photography, visual projects, and atmospheric scenes.

I mostly photograph landscapes, travel moments, animals, architecture, and small details that are easy to miss. This website is both a portfolio and a personal archive of the places and moments I want to remember.

Photography style

Quiet, cinematic, and natural. I prefer soft light, wide landscapes, and the kind of details you only notice when you're walking slowly enough to look.

Gear

  • Canon EOS R50

Software

By day I build software. This site is part portfolio, part experiment — a place to explore image presentation, metadata, and the tools behind the photos.
